Amazon.com Product Description The perfect complement to Tracfone prepaid wireless service, the sleek, lightweight Motorola W376g offers an affordable way to stay in touch with family and friends across town and around the globe via voice communication and text messaging. And this phone offers Double Minutes for the life of the phone. That means when you add a 60, 120 or 200-minute card, or a 1 Year of Service Airtime Card (which adds 400 minutes), you'll receive double the airtime for the same low price. Rock to your favorite radio station via the built-in FM radio while you manage your hectic schedule with the built-in organizational tools. Other features include Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free devices, a VGA camera for still photos, USB connectivity (for charging only), and up to 7.5 hours of talk time. Tracfone Service Tracfone provides nationwide prepaid wireless service using the nation's leading cellular providers to create a national footprint covering 99 percent of the U.S. population. This gives you connectivity everywhere cellular service is available. You can use your Tracfone across the U.S. and if you move, you can relocate your wireless number with just a phone call. You can buy bundles of minutes (which must be used within a set time limit of between 90 to 365 days) from the Tracfone web site on your home PC or directly from your phone's web browser. For example, if you purchase a block of 120 minutes of airtime, you'll need to use that within 90 days of your first use. When you buy additional airtime minutes, your Tracfone service is extended automatically by another 90 days. Tracfone also offers international long distance calling to over 60 international destinations (including Argentina, Brazil, China, Mexico, most European countries, and many more), which deducts the same amount of minutes from your phone as when you make calls to destinations within the U.S. This phone ships with a number of handy Tracfone services, including free voice mail, free caller ID, and free call waiting. And perhaps most importantly, the integrated Tracfone Airtime Balance Display shows you how much airtime you've used and how much is left, so you can control your costs. You must activate your cell phone before use either by calling the Tracfone toll-free number or going to the Tracfone web site. Phone Features Weighing in at an ultra-light 3.1-ounces, the super-slim W376g fits comfortably in your hand and flips open effortlessly to reveal a large and vivid full-color 128 x 160 screen and streamlined keypad. Instead of an external LCD, the W375 sports a series of unique, light-up icons that signal new messages, low battery, and other events. The VGA camera lens is housed above this display. Up/down buttons are placed on the left side for volume control while an internal antenna supplements the phone's sleek design. Most of the phone's features and on-screen menus are controlled by a five-way center button on the handset's backlit control pad. Use the phone's stereo-compatible 2.5mm headset jack with your favorite stereo earphones or hands-free headset. Lastly, charging and USB connectivity (for charging only) can be found on the bottom edge of the phone. The W376g's internal phonebook can hold up to 500 contacts and includes picture phonebook options, and it will display the last 10 dialed/received/missed calls. It supports 32-chord polyphonic ringtones, and you can switch it over to vibrate mode when you need to keep things silent. Hands-free communication is easy thanks to the integrated speakerphone. This phone also provides Bluetooth wireless connectivity (version 2.0), and includes profiles for communication headset and hands-free car kits. This Motorola phone includes the innovative CrystalTalk technology, which automatically accounts for background noise during a call and adjusts the audio quality based on ambient noise conditions to provide the optimal conversational experience. CrystalTalk also reduces the volume of the background noise picked up by the microphone during a call, making it possible to be more easily heard over the phone while in a noisy environment. The W376g is a messaging and wireless Internet powerhouse. Support is built in for sending and receiving pictures, text, graphics, sound, and video via messages. When used in combination with the phone's built-in VGA camera, MMS opens up a whole new world of messaging fun. The phone ships with a built-in email client, and there's also a built-in WAP 2.0 Web browser for fast mobile Web browsing. The iTap predictive text technology is built into the unit, which auto-completes text for you as you type on the alpha-numeric keypad and offers options for selecting the correct word. Other features include: - Tracfone Airtime Balance Display shows you how much airtime you've used and how much is left
- VGA camera for still photos with self-timer, white balance, and brightness functions
- Organizer tools: Calendar, alarm, stopwatch, calculator
- 32-chord polyphonic ringtones plus vibrate mode
- Hearing Aid Rating: M3
Vital Statistics The Motorola W37g weighs 3.4 ounces and measures 3.9 x 1.8 x 0.7 inches. Its 850 mAh lithium-ion battery is rated at up to 7.5 hours of talk time, and up to 240 hours of standby time. It runs on the 850/1800/1900 MHz GSM/GPRS/EDGE frequencies.

Not Good Even For A First Phone May 30, 2010 Phung 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
i got this phone two months ago and was very excited seeing as it my first phone. After a while i realized that it was actually pretty crappy. They brag about the features but some of them dont even work. For example, the Bluetooth wont even let you send/recieve files from other handsets. It also has a very slow internet browser. But, the sound quality is decent. I wouldn't recommend you to buy this phone, even as a first one
STAY AWAY from TRAC FONE!!! April 12, 2010 W. Gordon (Littleton, CO United States) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
The customer service agents at Trac Fone are trained in the fine art of AGGRAVATION!!! I spent over 6 hours trying to activate the service on a phone, endlessly repeating the serial numbers and sim card numbers. My advice is to stay away from Trac Fone. Yes, they're cheap, but in this case you really get what you pay for!!!
It's a Tracfone -- you get what you pay for. April 9, 2010 tAsTytEmPAi 3 out of 6 found this review helpful
I've never had a fancy cellphone. I am 20 yrs old and most kids at my college carry iphones. I would LOVE one, but I simply cannot afford food, rent, tuition, books, school supplies, and a phone plan! This tracfone did a good job while it lasted.I have owned it for around 1 & 1/2 yrs, and just recently it really started falling apart. The charger slowly needed me to adjust the wiring for it to work, as the battery also began holding less of a charge. Anyway, yesterday the charger completely broke, and even after using the school Mac (I have an AWFUL HP laptop -- check out my review on it if you want to see a pathetic situation noting I can't afford a replacement) for two hours just to charge my phone...I kept my phone off afterward -- it had FOUR bars. I turned it on just now to see if I received any missed calls and I only have ONE bar. >:( I have an important phone call coming in tomorrow morning >:(
Anyway, the phone worked pretty well so here are the CONS (Pros being that it is a cellphone -- nothing special although I appreciate the "mirror" on the front):
*sometimes I would not receive calls/txts
*many times I would receive things such as four new voice mail messages, only to find out they were from a couple weeks ago AND all four messages were copies of each other.
*difficult to take photos of yourself
*runs out of battery too quickly -- after a few months the battery needed frequent charging, even though I hardly ever used the phone (ex. maybe one text every day)
*Easy to accidentally hit the web (aka TRACFONE [don't expect actual internet]) browser and lose minutes.
The above are my only real complaints. Overall, I liked this phone for the time I had it.
This is a TRACFONE which is aimed at the poor, elderly, non-tech saavy, and people who either don't use cellphones much, but want one or...criminals.
Unfortunately I am a young girl using Tracfone, but if you are a young guy and stuck with one of Tracfone's behind-the-times phones, then my advice to you in looking cool and getting chicks is:
Dress like a pimp, act like a pimp, and girls will think you are using tracfone "cuz u so gangsta and cool dealin them drugs for the thousandsa benjamins." You can even use a computer program to text yourself suspicious messages so you have proof of ur pimpin-lifestyle, and we ALL KNOW that most girls like bad boys!
Anyways, I just ordered the newer tracfone, so Im pretty stoked.
PS: The Tracfone company is AWESOME! i wish they offered fancier phones though, but ah well -- they are a great price and work! :)
Kids like it. March 19, 2010 Stan C (Independenc, MO) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got two of these. So this will be the second review. Good phone.
