 A simple remote for playing DVDs or Blu-ray May 28, 2010

I got this remote so that I can watch movies on the PS3, without trying to figure out the regular game playing remote. This remote has a lot of buttons but so far what I have been using (only watched one movie since I bought the remote) is play, pause, enter, control panel, skip, and fast forward. Just the simple buttons, I don't know what all the others do. Setting up the remote was easy (look at the instructions). Now I can watch my movies on the PS3 with a remote.

It rarely gets used but when it does, it is a nice device to have. You could use youe PS3 controller as it it wireless. But I find having a remote it somehting most of are accustomed to when watching tv, or movies.

If you are using your game controller to watch DVD's and Netfix get this controller. It works off batteries so your never interupted with a low battery problem while watching a movie. Using this controller also keeps your rechargeable game contollers ready to play games.

Not much to say, it works great to replace using a PS3 controller to navigate the menus. Wish it was a multifunction remote to control my other devices.

Worth the buy of this remote, specially if you see a lot of blue ray movies, it makes it super easy to navigate and search the menu option of the movie your watching.
i do recommend it.
