Bought this friction mount as a quick purchase before vacation because I got sick of the suction rings on our windshield. I was a little sceptical at first but after taking the mount on well over 3000 miles of travel, my wife and I are very pleased with this mount. Not once did it slide, topple, move or anything. It stays put not matter if your turning, breaking, or just heading down the highway. Deffinitly worth the money for a stable GPS mount. We have a Garmin Nuvi 500W that fits perfect! The only downfall to this mount is the storage. We own a '07 Santa Fe that has a decent size center console that the mount fits in fine, however, it does take up a lot of room in there. Other then that SMALL factor this friction mount is the best on the market in my opinion! Even with the storage issue I would still rate this mount 5 out of 5 stars!

This mount is awesome! Far superior to the supplied suction cup mount that came with the GPS unit. I am very easily able to move the GPS unit out of the window and back again when ready for it. Or if I put up my sunshades in my car, I don't have to worry about moving it out of the way or removing a suction cup. This mount also keeps the unit low enough that it does not visually impair the drivers view. This mount nestles itself right in between the two center air vents in my wife's G6 and does not move! And no more tell tale suction cup rings on the windshield! Or, for you Brits that may be reading this, windscreen.

The item was as advertised & is a much needed alternative to the windshield suction mount. The only thing negative is that it took too long to arrive, about 6 days. This is the longest of any item I have ordered on Amazon. It works well & is just what I wanted.

Works great. Much better that the window suction cup device that came with my first Garmin. This was purchased for use with a new Garmin that I bought at the same time. My only complaint is the cost. The Garmin was $119 and this device was 18% of the cost of the unit. They should just add $10 to each Garmin and include this in the box instead of the window suction cup.

I received it very fast. It was the exact product at Target for half the price. Works, does all it should. Great product.
